Spending the weekend painting. Upstairs bathroom is painted but without the "faux tiles". I want to make sure Michelle likes the color. Today I'm painting the downstairs bathroom. Anke's book really needs to be finished up and mailed out, but I couldn' t resist the butler. Reminded me of Mai-Liis with "Jeeves" at the art expo. Michelle's got some great art in her house.....who needs to go to an art expo!! I love it when people support the arts.
Meeting Marco at 8 to paint.......
Another month with art leaving late.
These are my journeys through my artistic life. Sometimes a bit bumpy but never boring.

Challenging Week
A very challenging week. Will I get all the work done that needs to be done? Calling all Muses!
If I get co-operation from everyone...as in leave me alone, so I can get my work done...maybe.
Focus.
Not getting stressed with all the teeny-boppers I am working with will be the real challenge. I just want to do art and not have to supervise them, especially with cleaning up after themselves. I'm toying with the idea of doing the work I have to do at home tomorrow. BUT...what will I walk into when I get back to set up the carnival? Last year, paint trys were left in the sink for a week....and then I caved and cleaned them myself. I will not do that this year...I WILL NOT.

Camp fun
I brought 2 flat friends to camp this week, Becky and Anke. One of the groups will be making their own flat selves. I had the 1st graders make birds and the kids had a lot of fun with them and flat Becky and Flat Anke. The older kids are familiar with flat stanley, so there wasn't much explaining to do. The younger ones just want to take the doll home. "Can I have it" they ask. "It's not mine, she's just visiting" I repeat over and over. It's cute though and they love having their picture taken. It makes it more fun for me too.
