I did this painting on her arm, but it was too much.I originally wanted to add some copper, so her whole upper torso and arms were painted. She needed a blouse to cover the sticks used to keep her head on, but my limited sewing only allowed a short sleeve shirt. My mom gave me the idea of sheer black material or lace to cover and the piece I had looked good but it wasn't enough. The lace I ended up buying was too heavy, so on a whim, I painted leaves on her arm. Kind of funky, but way too busy. Then I wrapped her arms with a strip of fabric, as we were taught in her wrapped spirit doll class. Much better..
